Pay to Try (PTT) – Warnings and Other Details…

Published by twinendeavors at 9:33 am under work from home Edit This

Warning - As I mentioned in a prior post, not all companies with trail offers are on the “up and up.”  I’ve heard a few stories of people cancelling prior to the trial ending but their credit card continued to be charged and the dispute process took months to resolve and to get a credit.  For this reason, it is CRITICAL that when you communicate your cancellation to the company that you request a cancellation confirmation in writing.  Also, document the date/time you communicated your cancellation, the method (i.e. e-mail, phone, etc.), and who you spoke to if you phoned in your cancellation.  If you do cancel via phone, ask for an e-mail address and follow up with your cancellation request in writing.

Other Details - Like the other pay programs I’ve written about, Pay to Try programs also have a minimum payout amount which varies by program.  They typically pay by check, although a few pay by Paypal.
