Pay to Shop (PTS) – How do they work…
As with all the other programs that I’ve written about, Pay to Shop programs are free to join. The only requirement to insure you’re paid by a Pay to Shop program is that you gain access to a particular retailers website using the Pay to Shop program’s link available on the programs website. You just logon to the Pay to Shop website and do a search for the retailer or product you’re looking to buy. When you find the retailer you’d like to shop with, just click on the link provided and it sends you to that retailer’s website. The make your purchase as you would normally. It’s that simple!
Do these guys actually give you money to shop with or do you just get points for shopping there? I’d like to see more specifics if possible. Thanks!
Hello Wearmanyhats!
Great question and one I had planned to cover in a future post since I have a lot to say about this program type
The answer is you get paid FOR shopping, you do not get paid TO shop. So once you’ve placed your order with a retailer, cash or points (depending on the program) are deposited into your account which you can then cash out or redeem for a gift card or merchandise depending on the program. Although most programs pay you in cash.
